Olga Mexina is a Russian-American writer and translator. She was born in Leningrad, USSR and lived in St. Petersburg, Russia until 1993, when her family immigrated to New York. She holds an MFA in poetry from the University of Houston and calls Texas home. Her poetry, essays, reviews, and translations have appeared in The Pedestal Magazine, Mad Hatter’s Review, Big Pulp, Gulf Coast, and others. Currently, she is editing her first poetry collection. Olga Mexina teaches at Nazarbayev University in Nursultan, Qazaqstan.
